Turns & Twists .

Act Two:
It heats up in the Helmer home in Act Two. Nora and Dr. Rank have a moment as I suspected they would anytime now. They flirt and Nora shows off her silk stockings. From their conversation, she might be a bit more comfortable with him than with her own husband. Dr. Rank admits his true love for Nora. She's led him on for so long so it really isn't a surprise. I knew something would be revealed between those two !

Nora questions her motherhood. She refuses to let her children be around her because she feels she's a bad influence on them. What she fails to realize is that Krogstad just filled her head up with guilt and worry. The paranoia continues when Krogstad left Helmer, Nora's husband, a letter exposing what Nora's been up to. I don't think she had to go through all the trouble to distract him from reading it. He needs to know the truth for the sake of their marriage and their safety. This shows that Nora is immature and that there is no communication between Helmer and Nora. They're married and any secrets they might have, which in a marriage there shouldn't be, he should hear it directly from her and not word of mouth.

Inside the Dollhouse !

Act 1:
So Nora, Helmer's wife, is referred to a lot as a squirrel and scatterbrain because of her 'air-head' tendencies. But, I really don't think her ravishing good looks should be taken for granted. Behind the sharade, she's probably the smartest character in the house. Even though she borrowed the money to save her husband's life from another man, which may put her under bad light, at least she wasn't squandering around. It was for a very good cause so she needs to stop worrying about how mad Helmer would be about her borrowing money from Krogstad.

Overall, I don't think Nora needs to grow up. She just has to learn how to stand up to her husband and tell him the truth. I am looking forward for the lies and deceit to continue. I have this weird feeling that something is going to be revealed involving Nora and Dr. Rank. DONT forget about Dr. Rank! You see how gitty she gets when he comes around, what's up with that ?

Henrik Ibsen .

Hey guys! Welcome to Becka's blog :) I gotta say, English class this year has been pretty interesting for me. I've learned a lot of new things. I've learned that a lot of the things we do learn about can relate to our everyday lives.

That guy up there is Henrik Ibsen. I did some research on him. He was born in Norway on March 20, 1828. He died at the age of 78. He became a famous playwrighter and is known for his realisticprose plays including Hedda Gabler, Ghosts, and A Doll's House.

-Keep in Touch you guys!
